Rylee |
|
Rylee is a very cute, yellow girl! She's small, about 50 lbs, but does need to
gain a few more pounds to be at a healthy weight. She came to us from a home that wasn't taking very good care of her. In fact, Ry has recently been diagnosed with heartworms, although it is a very light case. She will be undergoing heartworm treatment in a week or so. She will be all ready for her new home in about 30 days.
Rylee is crate trained; she goes right into the crate when needed. She eats her meals
there and hasn't made a peep about going in.
Rylee also hasn't had an accident in the house at all. Not sure how much time she did
get to spend in the house before she came into rescue, but she's been a perfect guest!
Rylee is very sweet and just longs for someone to love her. With the recent rains, her
foster home is unsure if she likes to fetch but hopes to find out soon. She gets along
great with her foster brother Sully, and they can be found wrestling around on the floor
more often than not.
Keep watching for Rylee's appearance at a next Meet-n-Greet. She's a very cute girl
who won't be in the program long!

Geneva |
|
Geneva is a Lab that will win your heart with one look of her big brown eyes! At 3 years old, she’s at the perfect age and has such a wonderful disposition. Geneva is about 83 pounds and all chocolate and sweetness. She was found running loose, with no ID to get her back home; however, Geneva's previous owner must have spent time training her. She is perfectly behaved and knows all her commands, even "sit pretty". Labs love to be with their family and Geneva is no exception. She would really like a home where someone is home at least part of the day. Geneva is very well house trained and well behaved. She doesn't need to be crated at all. She just relaxes on her dog bed until her foster mom comes home.
Geneva has some minor weakness in her hips, but please don’t let that scare you away. It is well managed with glucosamine supplements and she is doing great. Geneva still loves to go on walks, play and she loves to fetch the ball! She would do best in a quiet household, as she does not like to be jumped on by other dogs or grabbed by small children. She would be fine with children over the age of 10.
If you are looking for a Lab that will be your constant companion and bring a smile to your face, please complete an online adoption application.

Koz (adoption pending) |
|
Meet Koz! Koz is a yellow, male Lab about 2 years old and on the smaller size, weighing just over 60 pounds. How will you know Koz from all the other Labs at our Meet & Greet booth? Well... Koz will be the Lab flipped over on his back getting a belly rub!
He is a such an affectionate young Labrador and just really loves to be
around people, so family life is just what he is looking for! He gets along with other dogs very well & loves to play and romp
in the back yard, as long as the people that he loves are with him. If you are looking for an affectionate Labrador to be part of your family, Koz is the Lab for you.

Max
|
Max is one big, handsome boy! He is just over 5 years old and a solid 90 lb. dog.
Max is exactly what people look for in a Lab. He loves to splash in the doggie pool
at his foster home and play fetch. His very favorite thing is to carry a couple of
tennis balls around in his mouth! Max loves to be with his people and will sack out
at your feet after a walk or game of fetch. Max is a very good boy... he is
housebroken, crate trained and even knows how to use a doggie door.
Max is looking for a home with a big back yard where he can run & play ball and a
family that will let him snuggle with them on the couch afterwards. Because he is a
big boy, Max would be great with children over the age of about 10. Max gets along
very well with the female dogs in his foster home, but doesn't like to share his
people with other male dogs.
Max is a little too curious about kitties, so he is best suited to a home without
cats. If you're looking for a fun dog who's easy to have around, Max is your guy!

Chamois
|
Chamois (pronounced "Shammy") is such a sweet, lovely little 3 year old Labbie.
She always has a big smile on her face and her whole body wiggles from nose to
tail when ever she sees you! Chamois is on the smaller side at 50 pounds, but
needs to put on a little more weight. Her foster mom is good at doing that!
Chamois is a total water dog! She absolutely loves to splash and play in her
doggie pool. Chamois' favorite spot is sitting at her foster mom's feet, getting
cuddles. She is very eager to please and learns new things very quickly. Chamois
caught on to crate training and going potty outside right away. If you are looking
for a dog that will give you endless unconditional love, come see Chamois. You will
fall in love at first sight!
