Romo
|
|
|
Romo is a handsome 73 pound mellow, yellow Lab! He always has a smile on his
face & a tail that just wags non stop. Romo may be is a senior boy, but you would
never guess that once you meet him. Romo is energetic and has a sweet and obedient
disposition. He gets along well with the resident kitty cat and other senior lab
at his foster home. Romo really loves to play fetch. No tennis ball is safe around
him!
Romo is always ready to play a game of fetch with his tennis ball. When fetch
is over, he is ready to cuddle and relax at your feet. Romo will get on the bed
and couch if you let him. He was told "No" at his foster home the first time he
tried to climb up and hasn’t tried it since. He is very happy in his crate and
remains there during the day while his foster mom is at work. He knows how to sit
and stay and is working on learning how to walk on a leash without pulling.
Romo is a great dog and would be a happy, well mannered and affectionate
addition to any home.

Canon
- Coming Soon
|
|
|
You want handsome?? Well, we have BIG AND HANDSOME for you! Meet Canon.... a
stunning black Lab with a big smile to match his personality! Canon is 1 1/2 to
2 years old and about 80 pounds. He was rescued from a local shelter where he
landed after an afternoon of adventure. Unfortunately, he had no ID to get back
home.
Canon has lots of energy and loves to run and play fetch. He would be a
wonderful companion to an active family with kids about 10 years old and up.
Canon is a champ in his crate. He is also completely potty trained. Canon knows
his manners, like how to sit, stay, lie down, and walk on a leash, but sometimes
it is awfully hard to remember to behave! He is energetic but thrives under
consistency.
Canon gets along very well with the other large dogs in his foster home. He has
discovered that kitty cats are nimble runners, and it is really fun to "play chase"
with them. The cats in his foster home disagree :-) They recommend that he not
live with kitties in his new home.
Canon is completing his medical care and will be available for adoption at the
end of January.

Ember
- Coming Soon
|
|
|
This is Ember. Yes, we know that she looks like a moth-eaten old sweater! We rescued her
from a local shelter. She had been attacked by some other animal prior to ending up there.
She was covered with bites and lacerations and had large areas of infection and mange on
her head and body. She was very sick and in pain. Just a few short weeks later, the
infection is gone and the mange almost cured. She is our little Raggedy Ann right now,
but will be a beautiful, shiny girl in no time!
Ember is about 1 year old, 70 pounds, and heartworm negative. She will be spayed as
soon as her health permits. Ember loves people, especially kids. She still has a lot
of puppy spirit and enjoys playing with other dogs. Ember should be ready for a new
home around the middle of February... maybe she will be someone's new Valentine's
Day Labbie!
