Available Labs for Adoption in the Dallas-Ft. Worth area

Meet the available labs at our next Meet & Greet Booth. View our Meet & Greet Schedule.

Skylar

When you first see Sky, you think, ‘Wow!! What a beautiful Lab!” Sky really is a stunningly beautiful girl, both inside & out. If you know the breed, you know that Labs were bred to work very closely with their humans and want to please their people. That describes Sky to a 'T'!

Sky loves to be where ever you are. When we go upstairs, she bounds up the steps. She sits right under her foster mom’s chair while she’s doing homework... Foster mom, not Sky ;-) Sky sits close by and lets you know that she’s always available for some lovin’! If you let her, she’ll crawl right into your lap. She’s very interested in whatever you are doing, just in case you need a paw to help. Especially if you are looking in the fridge for something to eat, she’ll be right there along with you, checking out the goodies!

We are still getting used to each other’s signals. Sky is a very good girl and has had only one accident in the house. She has not chewed on anything other than her own toys. She LOVES kongs with peanut butter and treats. Sky will sleep quietly through the night, either on the dog bed or even better... cuddled up with you on your bed! She doesn't seem to move at all during the night.

Sky is just about 3 years old and weighs 61 pounds. She would do best with a dog her age and size to play and keep her company, along with an owner to take her for walks daily. She is a little too energetic for very small children, but should be great with kids over about 10 years old.

Sky is a sweet girl who loves to be loved on and only wants to be your best friend. Come see Sky at the Meet-n-Greets and fall in love with her!

Sophie - (Raising donations for needed surgery)

Looking for some Labrador love? Sophie is your girl! She is a 60 pound (needs to be 65-70 lbs), approximately one year old black female, looking for a forever home. Sophie was found running around the streets of a North Texas town before ending up at a local North Texas shelter. After a month at the local shelter, she was rescued by our organization and is adjusting to her foster home quickly. Sophie has already learned to sit on command and wait for food. She enjoys walks and playing with dog toys but especially loves to sit in your lap. Sophie is great with kids, other dogs (young and old) and even cats.
